Please Pray - 16 Days of Activism for Gender-Based Violence - See Prayers under Ministries / Global Ministries

The ministry of the Office of Global Partnerships of the Episcopal Church states that its goal is to help “build bridges beyond ourselves”. As women of the church, we too believe that reaching out to others beyond our own neighborhoods is our calling to serve. The ECW Board of the Diocese of Virginia has embraced this call and is in the process of discerning the direction of our global ministry. Our first step is to participate in prayers for brothers and sisters around the globe. Hopefully, each of us does pray for the world each day. In addition to this more general prayer, we will pray on special days that have been set-aside for global prayer. We ask each of you to join us in the power of prayer. We will send you dates and prayers as reminders of our blessings and times that we ask you to join us and pray with and for others.

We know that as long as there is violence against women, we cannot stand in silence. Please join us as the Diocese of Virginia ECW Prayer group.                                                                                           Inez Tuck Global Ministries Co-Chair

We will begin our prayer journey with prayers over the 16 Days of Activism for Gender-Based Violence.
